President of Ghana Premier League champions, Samartex 1996, Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire is calling on the public for financial support to help the club's activities in the Africa Club campaign.
After winning the Ghana Premier League, the club was awarded an amount of GHc 500,000.00, equivalent to little over $38,000.00 which cannot take care of the club's activities in their CAF Champions League campaign.
In an interview with 3 News, the President says the club has already started calling and visiting cooperate bodies to help them financially to be able to execute the mandate given them to represent Ghana in the 2024/25 CAF Champions League.
The preliminary stages of the competition will start in August 2024 at a venue yet to be decided by the club.
