Daniel Laryea selected by CAF for training course

Ghana's number one referee Daniel Nii Laryea has been selected as part of referees in Africa to receive training courses from the Confederations of Africa Football, CAF.

CAF will be giving some selected referees in Africa regular training courses every three months so as to improve the Africa game.

Twenty-four (24) active referees will be part of the training courses including Ghana's finest, Daniel Nii Laryea who has proven, in recent times, to be one of the best on the continent.

A total of thirty-seven (37) referees including referee instructors, VAR technicians, IT support and CAF staff will be taking these courses every three months.

These personnel will be remunerated by the association during every training course with the aim of ensuring free and fairness in the game.

The last edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast produced one of the best officiating, arguably, one of the best in world football which received applauds worldwide.

CAF will continue to protect that gains by ensuring constant training of its officials ahead of tournaments.
