Elvis signs for Asante Kotoko SC

 Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko SC have completed the signing of former Liberty Professionals attacker, Elvis Kyei Baffour on a three-year-deal after a successful medical terms.


The experience attacker comes in to bolster the attacking impetus of the club following the exit of Steven Dese Mukwala whose contract run out at the end of the 2023/24 season and Kalo Ouattara after just a season.

Kyei Baffour left Ghana to North Africa where he joined Avenir Sportif de Soliman in Tunisia following a thrilling season with Liberty Professionals in the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League where he bagged in 8 goals with 5 assists in 15 games.

Before joining Asante Kotoko SC, he had a short stay in Slovenia with NK Rogaska.

After penning his signature, the speedster emphasizes the rich culture and passionate supporters of the club which pushed him to join the club and devoted to itching his name in history folklore of the club.

Elvis Kyei Baffour has participated in all Asante Kotoko SC pre-season games and has scored in friendly games for club at the Adako Jachie training grounds and has become a familiar name within the team.

He becomes the fifth player signed by Asante Kotoko SC ahead of the 2024/25 season.
