Ernest Nuamah to complete permanent move to Lyon from Molenbeek

Ghanaian star, Ernest Nuamah will be moving to Olympique Lyonnais on a permanent deal after a successful season with the French side.

Reports from France indicate that Lyon will be paying €18 million to his club in Brussels, Belgium, RWD Molenbeek after paying €30 million for his service in August 2023 from FC Nordsjelland in Denmark.

The French side will be including bonuses to the deal to his parent side when the deal becomes official in the coming days.

The 20-year-old made an instant impact to the Pierre Sage's side last season helping them secure a respectable position in the French Ligue 1 having had a wishy-washy run throughout last season.

He made 29 appearances for Lyon, one of the highest last season for the club, scored three and assisted two which have pushed the club to pursuit his signature and revitalize their fortunes going into the 2024/25 season.

Nuamah has been an integral member of Otto Addo's Black Stars upon his return to the helms of affairs in March 2024 where he played crucial part in Ghana's path to securing a World Cup 2026 berth beating Mali and Central Africa Republic in June 2024.
