Belgian side Cercle Brugge have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender cum midfielder Lawrence Agyekum from Red Bull Salzburg.
The 20-year-old signed a year loan deal with an option to buy after the 2024/25 season.
He moved from Ghanaian side West Africa Football Academy, WAFA after the 2019/2020 season but have since not settled well with Austrian side.
He has been on loan move to Liefering on three different seasons and has had a solid two previous seasons featuring in 36 games scoring two times over the previous.
Cercle Brugge will seek to better their chances of playing in European club competitions next season with the acquisition of Lawrence Agyekum.
The Jan Breydelstadion side finished 5th in the 2023/24 Belgian Jupiler League and will be in the Europa League.
