Hearts of Oak to snatch Enock Morrison, verbal agreement reached

Former Asante Kotoko SC midfielder, Enock Morrison is set to complete a move to Accra Hearts of Oak after abruptly ending his stay with the Porcupine Warriors last week.

Morrison has started negotiations with Hearts of Oak to find a new club and it is reported that verbal agreement is reached between the two parties.

He is part of the twenty-one (21) players Asante Kotoko SC let go after the 2023/24 season where they finished 6th on the league table due to insurbodination and unsporting behavior.

Even though he had a year left on his contract to stay at Asante Kotoko, he mutually parted ways with the club and has since express gratitude to his former side.

With Hearts of Oak also restructuring their squad for the upcoming season, they have found the service of Enoch Morrison very important as direct replacement of Salifu Ibrahim whose contract expired with the club last month.

The player is currently in Accra preparing to complete formalities and seal a deal with Hearts of Oak in the coming days after completing deals with Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Awuah, both from Nations FC.
