Former Hearts of Oak forward, Ibrahim Salifu is reported to be on his way to Kosovan side, FC Drita after the expiration of his contract.
He left Accra Hearts of Oak at the end of June 2024 when his three-and-half year stay with the club came to an end after moving from Techiman Eleven Wonders in the second half of the 2020/21 season.
Contractual talks with the representatives of the player and the club failed to reach an amicable conclusion forcing the skillful player to leave the club.
Several clubs locally were in need of the services of Ibrahim Salifu including Asante Kotoko SC, however, FC Drita are pole position to secure his services on a three-year-deal.
The 24-year-old was integral in Accra Hearts of Oak's league triumph in the 2020/21 season after going fourteen (14) years without a major trophy winning Most Valuable Player of the season.
