Ghana Premier League champions for the 2023/24 season, Samartex 1996 have announced the signing of Real Tamale United captain, Baba Kushibu ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Samraboi-based side have been in high preparation for the upcoming highly anticipated eventful season which will expose the club into three major competitions, locally and continental.
The champions are far ahead in invigorating their squad to meet the standard to pass the test in all three competitions especially in the CAF Champions League.
Baba Kushibu becomes the fourth signing for Samartex 1996 following the exit of last season's captain Emmanuel Keyekeh to Singida Black Stars in Tanzania and Yussif Dauda to APR FC.
He adds to the team's great wealth of experience on the right side of the field going into next season.
Samartex kick off their CAF Champion League campaign against Victory United FC from Cameroon in the first round of the preliminary stages in later next month.
