Ghanaian side, Asante Kotoko SC have announced the signing of Congolese defender Ndongani Samba Gilbani O'Neil on a two-year-deal, the club confirms.
He becomes the fourth signing of the club following the completion of former Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Antwi and two Sudanese, Esmat Abdulhamid and AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub.
Ndongani Samba arrived in Kumasi Thursday morning to undergo a mandatory medical test which he successfully passed to pen a deal with the club.
He previously played for Burkinabe side Rahimo FC and could not extend his stay after the expiration of his contract.
Asante Kotoko SC are reorganizing their base to form a complete new team for competitive action ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season following the sacking twenty-three (23) players after the end of the 2023/24 Ghana Football season.
The team will lock horns with Accra Hearts of Oak next Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium for the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup organized by the Parliament of Ghana to celebrate Ghana's 30 years of effect democratic rule.
