Former Asante Kotoko SC striker, Steven Dese Mukwala, has hit the grounds running at his new club, Simba SC of Tanzania following some impressive showings in the pre-season.
The Ugandan was on target for Simba SC in their friendly game against Aladalah Club by 2-0 played in Egypt at the New Suelz Canal Stadium.
Mukwala gave life to the gave on the ninth minutes to put his side at an advantageous position before the second came on the 33rd minutes which ensured the Tanzanian side gear towards the upcoming season with confidence.
He left Asante Kotoko SC after the end of the 2023/24 Ghana football season where he scored 14 goals in the Ghana Premier League season after failing to complete a contract extension with the club.
He signed a three-year-deal with Simba SC afterwards and has since been pivotal in their pre-season campaign as they prepare for the 2024/25 CAF Confederations Cup.
