Rasheed Saminu qualifies to Paris Olympic Games

Ghana's Rasheed Saminu has won a place in the next Olympic Games in Paris after been ranked 54th in the World Rankings.

His participation in the Games will cover 100 meters and 200 meters events in Paris and will be facing the world's best athletes.

The qualification will mean Ghana's relay team will have Rasheed Saminu after the likes of Benjamin Azamati also pulled through the World Rankings to make a qualification.

However, Isaac Botsio and Paul Amoah could not make it to their individual events via World Rankings but will be part of Ghana's relay team.

The Paris Olympic Games is set to kick start on 24th July to 11th August 2025.
